Basalt Fiber Chopped Strands are particularly for manufacture of BMC premix thermosetting composites. The strands are coated with Silane-based sizing compatible with unsaturated polyester and vinyl ester resin systems,which provides excellent mechanical property, including high tensile strength and modulus, as well as excellent resistance to impact and fatigue.
